Focus and Scope

Gorontalo Agriculture Technology Journal (GATJ) is a periodical scientific journal published by the Gorontalo University of Agricultural Technology Departement.  The purpose of this journal is to provide a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish original research articles or review articles. The scope of articles published in this journal relates to various topics in the fields of :

  1. Food technology: Chemistry and Food analysis, Microbiology and food safety, engineering and food processing, Biochemistry of food, nutrition and health, food science / applied agricultural products, post-harvest technology.
  2. Agricultural industrial technology (agroindustry): Agricultural industrial process technology systems, industrial management, agroindustrial technoeconomics, quality management.
  3. Agricultural Engineering: Design tools and agricultural machinery as well as the structure of farm buildings, maintenance facilities construction design and processing of the results, design of waste treatment and agriculture, and irrigation.

Peer Review Process

  1. All peer review publications will be refereed in double-blind review process by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
  2. Results of the review process are normally available within one month of submission.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
