This study aims to analyze the role of the Gunung Anyar Mangrove Ecotourism site in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on local economic potential in Surabaya. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the ecotourism site plays a significant role in supporting MSMEs by providing business premises, increasing community income, and offering training and promotional support for local products such as culinary items and handicrafts. Nevertheless, several obstacles continue to constrain this role, including limited capital, low levels of product innovation, and inadequate digital promotion. The study concludes that, despite these challenges, the ecotourism initiative has succeeded in strengthening the local economy and sustainably improving the well-being of the surrounding community. Strengthened synergy among ecotourism managers, local government, and MSME operators is recommended to further optimize this economic impact.
