Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of road infrastructure, electricity infrastructure, and education infrastructure on economic growth in Gorontalo Province. Infrastructure plays a crucial role in promoting economic development by increasing productivity and improving people's quality of life. This study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis with secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Gorontalo Province for the period 2016–2023. The results indicate that electricity infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. In contrast, road infrastructure and education infrastructure do not have a statistically significant effect on economic growth. Although road and education infrastructure do not significantly influence economic growth individually, all three infrastructure variables jointly have a significant effect on economic growth. These findings suggest that the development of infrastructure, particularly electricity infrastructure, is essential for promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Gorontalo Province. Therefore, greater attention should be given to improving the quality, connectivity, and equitable distribution of infrastructure to maximize its contribution to regional economic development.
